jen + adam // the wedding // west salem + la crosse, wi wedding photographer

jen and adam's big day was filled with tons of love and laughter. in talking with jen just before the wedding i always ask "are there any special situations that i should be aware of?" to which she responded, "no, but we are an incredibly fun group to be around....so beware :)" and she was right. they didn't disappoint. the entire wedding party of 22 people had a special treat for everyone for the grand march - a super fun choreographed medley of half a dozen dance songs. it made me wish i was in the wedding party so i could join along. even though i didn't know the steps, i could have faked my way through it. lol.

the rain held out for us which we were all thankful for, but we could have done without the muggy humidity and mosquitos. regardless the day was perfection. and to top it off i got to enjoy one of my favorite catering places again -- rooster andy's -- and my "everybody MUST buy their cake from international bake shoppe" sweet indulgent for dessert. i confess, i had two pieces...or was it three? i have become an IBS cake connoisseur and can always recognize their work by my first bite. i'm a bit of a cake freak!

special thanks to the west salem fire department for loaning out one of your trucks for a couple hours. adam is on the fire department and i know it meant a lot to both jen and adam to be able to incorporate that into their day as well.
