jess + collin // the wedding // onalaska + barre mills, wi wedding

jess and collin's day was another amazing wedding that i am so grateful to have been a part of. this year has been so great. i'm about halfway through wedding season and know the second half of the year will be just as amazing as the first half.

so what didn't i like about this wedding? um, nothing! from the dresses to the flowers to the colors to the sweetness and fun personalities of the entire wedding party to the venue to the abundance of adorably cute babies and of course the bride and groom. i loved it all! and aaahhhh...THAT DRESS. it fit jess perrrrrrfectly. stunning. i was in love with this dress. just stunning. and the fact that jess looks this great after just having a baby....yup, of course i'm jealous!

on the way home i had to pull out my johnny cash tunes and listen to my fill of "jackson" by johnny cash and june carter cash. jess and collin's precious baby girl was named after june and the song "jackson" is one of my very favorites from her and the love of her life.  even as i sit here editing it makes me want to turn on the movie Walk the Line and watch it. i just might go do that.

one thing i really love about weddings is that i get to hear the message about marriage and the love and unity between husband and wife at each wedding. i always find myself listening and reminiscing of my own marriage. it's a nice reminder of things i may need to remember more often or just make my heart happy in general to know how blessed and thankful i am for my own husband.

i stayed quite a bit later to be able to get these precious mother-daughter moments for jess because i knew how much she wanted some with her baby girl. i'm so glad i did...totally worth it. happy tears.
