biz and sam are the type of people that everybody strives to be like. their personalities are infectious and people need to be around them to make their life complete. this was so recognizable the entire day. both elizabeth {who everyone calls biz} and sam were surrounded by storytelling family and friends. i've never been so honored or smiled so much than their wedding when i heard story after story about them, their childhood, their families, when biz's dad pulled up to the drive thru window where sam was working when they first started dating and pretended to be someone else. I've never laughed or cried so hard and it was amazing. friends spoke of stories where no one wanted to come to a party unless they knew biz was going to be there. and the way sam's speech touched everyone's heart and soul and had many in tears when he spoke of his mom who is no longer with us on earth and those others he has always admired and looked up to. i'm so thankful to have witnessed all of these emotions. biz and sam are truly full of dignity and grace. even in my chaotic summer schedule, working hard but still behind on editing, and biz patiently waiting for this blog, she never once was rude about the wait, so calm, so polite, stating only once "I'm so excited I can hardly stand it, but take your time". to biz and sam - you are amazing. thank you for letting me witness this day and feel emotion with every other person there that day that loves you so much.
