amanda + jerry // the wedding // eleva, wi wedding

when i first met amanda and jerry this spring, right away i knew i'd love them. they were so gracious to make the two hour drive to my place for engagement pictures since i was still home on maternity leave. we instantly hit it off and i felt completely relaxed with them. i remember when amanda first inquired with me for her wedding and when she told me they were getting married at Schultz's Country Barn....well, she had me at barn. i was pretty giddy with excitement. their simple, relaxed, country wedding did not disappoint and was completely right up my alley. no fuss about major schedules and timelines, everyone had a great go-with-the-flow attitude (which is totally me!), the atmosphere was filled with excitement but relaxed like a giant family reunion with everyone excited to see everyone else. one of my very favorite memories of the day was seeing both amanda and jerry's family hug each other after the ceremony and congratulate each other filled with overflowing smiles for welcoming each other to the family.
